Susan "Susie" Hayes was born on March 25th, 1955 in Monroe, NC. She married Victor "Vic" Alan Thomas born on June 3rd, 1957 in Charlotte, NC. They were married June 8th, 1991. Susie and Victor have one child, Margaret "Maggie" Thomas who was born on August 30th, 1994. Susie attended Sun Valley High School and graduated in 1973. She then went to work at Farmer's Home Administration with her Aunt Eleanor Bass Hayes. Later, Susie went to work for the United States Postal Service and served for 23 years. She retired in 2009. She loves animals, flowers, and being in nature with her family. Their lovely daughter Maggie married Kenneth Angelo Velez on April 25, 2020. Susie and Victor reside on Hayes Road across from the olde Hayes Homeplace.
But here is some even more exciting news: Susie and Vic are GRANDPARENTS! Lillian "Lily" Lee Velez was born on January 25, 2021! May be circle be unbroken. Here are some pictures of the newest addition to our family tree:
